Dear Artists....

Today is February 18, 2026 and I am exhausted. I am tired. It's one of those days where I am sad and I just feel like what I am doing isn't really adding up. This maybe a personal blog. But I am ok with sharing. I feel like I have been making decisions based off of how I had been following others or maybe based off how I have interpreted myself to be. I see myself falling down this rabbit hole at the moment of reflection. I am currently at a job that doesn't serve me as a writer. I have always placed myself in these positions. The positions I find myself trying to conquer are these administrative positions. Currently, I had a thought process that I had the emotional and physical copasity to be a teacher. Boy. Was. I. Wrong. I literally can not stand working at this place. The reasons are that I feel like I am a young person who is struggling to deal with my own issues and emotions and I have to deal with adults who don't even know how to manage there own. Like what Am ...

Dear Artists...

Today is February 17, 2026. I am here at work for this meeting. I am thinking about so many things but one of the things that I learned today is how to structure and organize the artists mind to structure ourselves to be more commercial. Being commercial is so hard when being an artist. I find myself as an artist working hard to lean into my craft with as much love, passion and precision as possible. I am reframing my mind to manifest in a better and more loving way. Taking the time to do yoga and meditate on my day. All these things matter. However, I am focused so much on healing and being a good Stewart to my craft, I kinda forget about how to commercially be a success. Now there isn't a true blue print to this. I do not have a real platform to give Q&R. I have not reached success enough to provide class sessions or subscriptions for classes. But What I do have is a book that I recommend any writer or artists to read because it can help you. The name and author of this extra...

Dear Artists...

Today is February 14th and I am in a space of forgiveness for myself and others. One of the things I need to forgive is how hard I have been on myself as an artist. I hope that you to will be able to understand this as well. As Artists, we find ourselves trying our best to make the best work and the best pieces. I know that there are time where you think that you have to perform and create amazing work. I know there are times where you create something and it's never good enough. We must change our prospectives. You ever thought something you were doing wasn't good enough and then years later you look back and it was actually a great body of work? It's because of the feelings we carry toward our artistic moments and work. We as artists have to be more soft with ourselves. Art isn't about creating great pieces. It's about the ease into just allowing ones pieces to just come. I found that with this I have been hard on the people in my personal life as well. The world...

Dear Artists...

Today is February 10, 2026 and its a day that I feel at peace. A day that I feel like I am making moves in the world where they benefit me. I have been having some really important conversations with amazing people and one of the things that struck me was the conversation about being a leader in the artistic world. Being a leader comes with so much responsibility. When I was inebriating myself with drugs, I found myself to relaxed and Following behind others. I also found that I had things on my mind that needed to be done in my personal life and my career. Ideas would literally linger in my head. I would sit and just allow myself to fall short. I kept telling people I hope I don't miss my train. I hope I don't miss my plane ride. I would have dreams of me not making my flight or missing the train as well. However, Now that I look back at that statement and I look back at those dreams. I was missing my train and plane. I know that I was inebriating and with that inebriation ca...

Dear Artists...

Today is my birthday. Another day around the life cycle. I feel grateful to be alive. I have a mix of emotions. But I am learning to live in these emotions and ride the waves. However, the day was exceptional. I received love and I never thought that would happen still at my age of 28. As I grow older, I began to look back at my life. How I started to emerge as an artist and how God shaped my artistic direction. As a child, I was introduced to the world of animation through my uncle. My uncle Keith was such an influence on my life. He was very present in how I was exposing myself to different genres of cartoons. He was and still is an amazing drawer and visual artist. As time progressed, I saw myself wanting to be just like that. I wanted to see the world the same way her saw the world. I felt like my uncle saw the world in a creative yet softer point of view. I felt like her saw the emotion in everything which translated in his art. He was also a gamer. I too started to draw. I w...
